The multi award winning Festival attracts thousands of people and hundreds of wooden boats to Goolwa and is two days of spectacular on water and land activity, maritime themed events, music and flavours.

An exciting mix of colour and fun for all ages, the Festival celebrates the important history of Goolwa, wooden boats, the River Murray and its waterways. It’s a cultural Festival, where people mix with a diverse fusion of wooden boats from kayaks to paddle steamers, sharing their skills, history and adventure, love of art, music and regional produce.

We are thrilled to announce one of the SA Wooden Boat Festival's most iconic vessels, the PS Oscar W is back on the water this week and just in time for the launch of the festival’s official program.

The final count-down is on towards the 28-30 April South Australian Wooden Boat Festival (SAWBF) weekend.

The Oscar W will be at the Goolwa Wharf allowing the opportunity to experience this iconic vessel with the following cruise schedule;

•             Twilight Cruise Saturday, 15th April (5pm-7pm)

•             Twilight Cruise Friday, 28th April (5pm-7pm)

•             SAWBF Cruise Saturday, 29th April (11am, 1pm, 2.30pm)

•             SAWBF Cruise Sunday, 30th April (11am, 1pm, 2.30pm)

Tickets are available for purchase online, and we recommend purchasing in advance to avoid disappointment.
