Kenny Blake grew up in Strathalbyn, with a love of motorcycle racing. He started racing his 1964 Triumph in 1966, and was soon taken under the wings of Les and Dean Jesser.
He had his first major win at the 1973 Castrol 6 hour Production Bike Race at Ameroo Park Raceway in Sydney. In 1976 he won the coveted Australian 500TT race against a field of international riders. Kenny went onto win 11 national championships.
Visitors can come to the festival and check out new products and test bikes at the Trade Show. The Show and Shine will feature bikes from the Kenny Blake era.
