Rose Cottage is a large property with off-street parking. Located on south terrace, it is central to all amenities and is a warm, pretty and cosy property, a lovely place to stay.
3 bedrooms, 2 with queen brass beds, and one with 2 single beds. Towels and linen are provided. A fully equipped, eat in country kitchen with dishwasher with some basic provisions provided.
There is a dining room which can be used to play board games which are provided, or enjoy other family activities. Some toys, books, and vintage prams, peddle cars are great to take some photos with the children.
The cosy lounge / TV area has a combustion heater which is used in the cooler months. There is a split system air conditioner / heater in the kitchen, and fans in the two main bedrooms.
Laundry is equipped with a front loader washing machine and a dryer. The large bathroom has plenty of storage.
The fully fenced back yard provides off street parking for a number of vehicles, boats, trailers etc. The cute front porch is a nice spot for a cuppa, or watch the kiddies play.
As we are directly behind Woolworths, it is only a minutes walk to the main shopping district, where you can enjoy the great cafes, bakeries, specialty shops, hotel and lovely park and walk ways along the Angas River. The information centre is also a minutes walk up our road at the Heritage Railway Station as well as the art gallery. The Steamranger runs in the cooler months of the year. High street is about a 5min drive or 10 min walk
to enjoy the great Antique shops of Strathalbyn, more cafes, and the famous Lolly Shop.
Langhorne Creek Wine Region is a must to visit, only a ten minute drive to experience some great local wineries. Goolwa Beach and Victor Harbour are only 40 / 50 mins drive.
Lots to see and do, so come and enjoy Rose Cottage and the country town of Strathalbyn and its surroundings.
